Locking Rings

Besides screws, nuts, washers, rivets, roller bearings and other mass and standard parts, locking rings are most commonly used. Compared to other machine parts used to axially fix components on shafts or in drilled holes, they stand out due to the low price, the mounting simplicitiy and the simple and inexpensive production of the grooves used to position the rings.

There are meanwhile not only standard rings for shafts and drilled holes, but many special designs in a circular shape or with differently shaped ring ends or with rings out of streamline wire.

Often, packaging does not comply with the customers’ requirements, so that customized forms of magazines are common, as well.
